MIRDIF CITY CENTRE, DUBAI

Mirdif City Centre is a major regional shopping destination located within one of Dubai’s established residential communities. Developed as a AED 3 billion programme, the mall delivers approximately 196,000 m² of gross leasable area across 465 retail units supported by 7,000 car parking spaces. It brings together international brands, family entertainment, dining, services and community-focused amenities under one roof.

Unlike many destination malls in the region, Mirdif was conceived as a locally integrated centre, designed to support everyday living as well as regional draw, with strong connections to surrounding neighbourhoods and an emphasis on convenience, accessibility and year-round activation. At opening, it also introduced a series of ground breaking leisure attractions including an indoor iFly sky diving simulator and the Kevin Keegan branded Soccer Circus, reinforcing its position as a family orientated hub. Its scale, tenant mix and positioning established it as one of Dubai’s most important suburban retail anchors.

Our Role at Mirdif City Centre

One of our founders served as Project Director for the delivery phase of Mirdif City Centre, overseeing development, leasing, marketing, retail delivery and construction through to opening. The role involved coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams, managing programme and cost risks, and aligning leasing strategy with design and fit-out to support a successful launch.

The project opened as the single largest retail rollout globally connected to a central building management system at that time, requiring a high level of technical integration, tenant coordination and operational readiness. The experience of leading a complex retail development through delivery and opening continues to inform our approach to execution discipline, stakeholder management and commercial performance across large mixed-use projects
